Outstanding GCSE results for St Bernard's Year 11 Students, 2017
Published 25/08/16Staff and Governors extend their congratulations to the Year 11 students who received their examination results on the 24th August.
Once again we are delighted to report outstanding results.
20% of year 11 students gained between 5 and 11 A*-A or 7-9 at GCSE, 17 of whom gained between 7-11 A*-A or 7-9 grades at GCSE. 25% of all GCSE grades were A*-A or 7-9.
At St Bernard’s 84% of year 11 students achieved a 4 (standard pass) at GCSE in both English and Mathematics; 87% of our students gained 5 or more GCSEs including English and Mathematics at A*-C (or 4-9).
90% of students achieved a 4 or higher at GCSE in English and 87% a 4 or higher at GCSE in Mathematics.
Congratulations go to all our students for their hard work and achievement and we take this opportunity recognise the care and support given to them by parents, carers and the adults in the school in achieving such success.
