  • A Level Results 2019

We continue to cater for internal and external students at sixth form level and are proud of the success all our students have achieved this year, across a broad range of A level subjects.

Our results continue to be strong. 56% of all A level grades in 2019 were A*-B and 83% of all A level grades were A*-C.

The year 13 average points score per A Level entry is 34.8.

Individual student successes are many and below are just some of the wide range of university courses being embarked upon by St Bernard’s students in 2019:

English Literature at Lancaster University; English at Southampton University; Graphic Communication at Reading University; Law at Lincoln University; Medicine at Hull York Medical School; Criminology at Staffordshire University; Law at Greenwich University; Archaeology and Anthropology at Bournemouth; Business Management and Marketing at Nottingham Trent University; Engineering Product Design at London South Bank University.

‘When you are at school you do not realise what an impact your education will have on your life and the places it will take you.  St Bernard’s was a big part of my foundations.  If you have strong solid foundations, you can build anything you want, knock it down and re-build something new if you desire.  However, without good foundations, you will not build anything at all.’
